Chef de Cuisine Ricky of the Viking Rinda at the market in Conflans

Ricky, the the ship’s chef de cuisine, took us on a little excursion to visit the open market in Conflans Ste. Honorine, Normandy, this sunny Sunday morning, down by the river Seine. He explained how to prepare some of the items for his recipes. That was followed by a visit to a cheese boutique. What a treat to sample fresh raw oysters in the half shell, sausages, and cheeses.
